Here’s the update…
I’m working on a new project!
I’ve hired a team to help me start a website for ALL OF US. 💛
A lot of you know that I’ve been an entrepreneur since childhood, and I have so much respect and love for small businesses.
Over the past several years, farmstands, pop-ups, and porch pickups have become such an important source of income for people in our communities. I love being part of this movement through my own bakery pop-ups, catering events, and even my home farmstand.
Whenever I would see a local farmstand posted somewhere and the day of the opening would finally come, I was always scrambling to remember where I had even seen the flyer and what the address was—all while having an SUV full of kids, and sometimes friends, in tow.
I just wanted to get going!
Once we would arrive, I was always in awe of the hard work that went into planning and creating each stand. It was constantly on my heart to share that goodness with others.
So, I would take all those photos and post them!
But then the post would disappear, and the information I had so proudly shared would be gone.
As we would leave and drive home, my eyes would scan the area, wondering what else might be nearby.
I would think, “If I just turn down this road, maybe I’ll find another farmstand to support.”
Or, “Maybe there’s a local mom down the street who has spent days preparing her sourdough and has a porch stand waiting for someone to stop by.”
My love for this runs deep because I personally understand how much goes into the weeks of preparation and late nights before opening your doors to the people who have grown to trust and love what you make.
You all know I’m not shy about sharing my local favorites.
If you’ve been here with me for any length of time, you know how much I love sharing other people’s makes, bakes, and businesses.
I know how far a simple shoutout or share can go.
My hope with LocalStands.com is to make finding that goodness a little easier.
I want to put all the information you need right in your back pocket!

And it doesn’t end here.
You know how much I adore our local brick-and-mortar businesses because I own a couple, too!
The team and I will be working on additional categories to provide even more support, including a place for local, like-minded vendors to share their businesses when you’re hosting your own events.
Think caterers, dessert bars, local rentals, balloon artists, specialty drinks, specialty foods, kid-friendly activities, and so much more!
And we can’t forget our local farmers markets.
So many new families are moving here, and I want to make it easy for them—and for all of us—to find the markets happening around town. I’ll also have up-to-date farmers market days and hours listed for a quick and easy find.
